We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior M&E Buyer to join our client's team on a permanent basis in Berkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) materials and services, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The role requires a proactive approach to sourcing and purchasing, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to support ongoing construction and engineering projects, contributing to the overall success of the client’s operations.
- Proven experience as an M&E Buyer or in a similar procurement role within the construction or engineering sector
- Strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) materials and products
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively
- Experience with procurement software and good organisational skills
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently
